Poker Pros Already Looking Forward to 2014 World Series of Poker

Professional poker players are already looking forward to the 2014 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The WSOP recently announced the dates for the 2014 event that will be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The 2014 event will be the 10th straight held at the Rio.

The 2014 World Series of Poker will begin on Tuesday, May 27th and run for 49 straight days. The $10,000 main event will begin on July 5th with the final table being determined on July 14th.

The 2014 WSOP will include the “Big One for One Drop” that has a $1 million dollar buy-in. The event was held in 2012 but it was not held last year. The first place prize for this event is expected to be more than $20 million dollars.

Also on the schedule this year is the “Little One for One Drop” which is a $1,111 re-buy event. This event takes place on Thursday, July 3rd and Friday, July 4th. Last year the event had 4,756 entrants.

The 2014 World Series of Poker will also include the “Millionaire Maker” which has a $1,500 buy-in. The tournament guarantees a first place prize of at least a million dollars. The 2013 event had 6,343 entrants.

The 2014 WSOP will have at least 60 gold bracelet events.
