The biggest poker tournament of 2014 will be the Big One for One Drop at the 2014 World Series of Poker. A number of poker professionals have already committed to playing this event that features a $1 million dollar buy-in.
The Big One For One Drop was held in 2012 and sold out with a total of 48 players putting up the $1 million dollar entry. Poker professional Antonio Esfandiari won that event and the first place prize that was more than $18.3 million dollars. More than $5.3 million dollars was raised for the One Drop charity.
The 2014 event will take place from June 29th through July 1st. The amount of entrants this time will be raised to 56 so the first place prize will be more than $20 million if every spot is taken. “I can’t wait to defend my title,” said Esfandiari. “The event was life-changing, but so was my trip to El Salvador after it with the One Drop organization to see first hand what a difference the money raised from this event can do for those in dire need of help.”

Phil Galfond, Phil Ivey, Jason Mercier, Vivek Rajkumar, Brian Rast,
Andrew Robl, Erik Seidel, Sam Trickett and Noah Schwartz.
