Paddy Power Poker, in association with Winmedia International Ltd, today announces the television broadcast details of the 26th Irish Open. Europe's largest and longest running poker tournament will be shown on Challenge TV in the UK.

Six one-hour programmes will be broadcast on Challenge TV on:

- Friday April 20th, Saturday April 21st, and Sunday April 22nd at 11pm
- Friday April 27th, Saturday April 28th and Sunday April 29th at 11pm

Challenge TV can be found in the UK on Virgin TV 152, SKY 124 and in Ireland on Sky 124.

The shows will be presented by former girl-band star and Top of the Pops presenter Liz Bonnin and commentary will be handled by the legendary 'voice of poker' Jesse May along with a host of international poker stars.

This year's event, the second longest running poker tournament in the world and one of the most prestigious, doubles in size with a €2 million guaranteed prize pool (€550,000 for the winner).

Up to 700 players are paying €3,300 (+€200 reg) to play over Easter Weekend 2007 against the best players in the world.

Last year, Dublin accountant Vincent Melinn won the €350,000 first prize in only his second ever live tournament and the final table was broadcast live across Europe - a world's first.
