Mansion Poker silently closed it's doors to U.S. customers today. A short statement in the FAQ of the Mansion poker site says U.S. players can no longer wager at the property.

Mansion Poker wasn't very big in the U.S. so the move doesn't come as a big surprise. Poker rooms that are still accepting U.S. players are PokerStars, Bodog and Full Tilt Poker.

Just recently e-wallet Neteller also abandoned it's U.S. customers, and many players are still struggling to get their money out. Both EFT's and Neteller card withdrawals are not working anymore. Some players are now taking huge risks by using foreign account holders to fund their poker accounts indirectly.

Here's the statement from Mansion Poker copied from the FAQ:

"US Members:
We regret to advise that we are not accepting deposit or gaming and wagering transactions from Members in the United States. However, US Members may continue to access their MANSION account for administrative functions."
