ED MILLER, expert player and author to play in 2006 World Series of Poker. Newly coifed by the Fab Five from BravoTV’s Queer Eye, Miller will enter the tournaments dressed to kill. Miller’s new look won’t be the only thing dominating the tables. Miller’s outstanding skills, exemplified in his chart-topping new book, No Limit Hold’em: Theory and Practice, will make their appearance at this year’s World Series.

“My only worry is that my WSOP competition has read my book. I’d rather they read it after the Series so the games stay soft,” says Miller. His most recent book has already sold over 20,000 copies in its first month and is expected to be a “blockbuster.” To put that number in perspective, the 2006 World Series of Poker, called “the world's richest and most prestigious poker event” announced in May that they expect about 20,000 participants.

In Ed Miller’s Queer Eye appearance, which premiered on June 20th, Miller changed his look and taught Thom Felicia to play in a Texas Hold'em Celebrity Poker Mini-tourney with Susan Anton, Penn Jillette, David Brenner, and George Wallace. Travelocity donated a prize of $10,000, which was then donated to Habitat For Humanity in New Orleans to help Hurricane Katrina victims.

Ed Miller’s poker books include the beginner-level Getting Started in Hold ‘em, the intermediate-level Small Stakes Hold ‘em: Winning Big with Expert Play, co-authored by David Sklansky and Mason Malmuth, and the newest and most advanced book, No Limit Hold’em: Theory and Practice, co-authored by David Sklansky. Miller has also completed four instructional poker DVDs, entitled, Reading Hands, Adjusting Your Play, Advanced Pre-Flop Concepts, and Protecting Your Hand (Expert Hold $Em).
