Poker online always had one distinct advantage over real poker, you can play it in your undies if you wish to. As of this week this advantage is gone. The Paradise Lakes Resort in Pasco County, Florida, is organizing a strip poker tournament in order to attract "younger people to the nudist lifestyle". Though the tourney can only be entered into by couples and single women, single men do not despair, because the Sin Gentlemen's Club in Las Vegas is offering topless poker tournaments from February 7 onwards, where "as the ante goes up, the clothes [of the dealers] come down."
Pasco County, Florida, is visited by an estimated 100,000 nudists each year. With five nudist resorts located in the area, Pasco County is nudist heaven. Or at least it could be. That's because one thing is currently missing in Pasco heaven: beautiful women preferable not over 25 years-old.
Apparently a typical nudist is a 40+ male with a fat belly. So, in order to attract more young people to the nudist lifestyle, the Paradise Lakes Resort has launched a strip poker initiative, especially geared towards (female) students at the University of South Florida. Resort owner Joe Lettelleir commented: "I think the [USF students] will enjoy it. It's all in fun." The strip poker tournaments can only be entered into by couples and single women.
If you are a single male and also interested in nudity and poker you don't have to despair, because the Sin Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas has just what you're looking for. On February 7 they will be the first to offer it's customers free "topless" poker tournaments where "as the ante goes up, the clothes come down."
As we interpret the press release the club send out correctly the female dealers will take off a piece of clothing with each increase of the blinds. The tournaments are free and you can win prizes ranging from iPod's, TV's to wine baskets. However, make sure to bring some money anyway, because we can't imagine everything is for free at this club. The club also suggests to make a reservation because of the expected popularity of the topless poker tournaments.
