Emblaze/Tilt Million Dollar Cash Game to air on Sky

Europe’s biggest ever game of televised high stakes poker airs every Tuesday night for four weeks in January 2007 on Sky Sports. The first programme will be shown on Tuesday 2nd January at 1000pm on Sky Sports 2.

Million Dollar Cash Game features the world’s most famous poker faces as they front up and play a high stakes cash game at the exclusive club Fifty, London. All players stake a minimum of $100,000 to play in the event as millions of dollars are played for in this ultimate battle of the poker elite. Event sponsor Full Tilt Poker ensured that the line up was nothing short of awesome.

High profile pros playing in Million Dollar Cash Game include:

  • Phil Ivey – With over $7,000,000 in tournament prize money and 5 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets under his belt, Phil Ivey is widely acknowledged as one of the best, if not, the best, poker player of all time. He can normally be found playing in the highest stake cash games at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
  • Gus Hansen - 4 time World Poker Tour (WPT) champion whose aggressive style and fearless tactics have made him an overnight sensation.
  • Howard Lederer - 2 time WPT Champion and double WSOP bracelet winner.
  • Roland de Wolfe - WPT Paris Champion 2005 and EPT Dublin winner 2006.
  • Erik Seidel - 7 WSOP bracelets & over $5,500,000 in tournament winnings.
