Players on the Scandinavian Internet poker site Best Poker.com will
this week become part of the expanding Ongame network, joining millions
of players on other websites pooled under the Ongame system.
Best Poker's switch to Ongame takes place this week, when the site
departs the B2B - 24H network.
Henrik Persson, chief executive of Best Poker, said: We chose
Ongame due to its technologically superior software, large number
of players and the fact that they also offer a Java version which
enables our customers to play directly from the website without having
to download any software. In addition, Ongame Network allows us to
customize our interface to a great extent.”
Ongame, which is a subsidiary of the Austrian public company Bwin,
is member of eCOGRA, the player protection and standards body which
monitors all software and operational activity on its member sites
to ensure fair play and efficiency.
Martin Lerby, head of Ongame, complimented Best Poker on becoming
such a strong force in the Scandinavian market in a relatively short
time span, and revealed that the company would be launching the first
online VIP Shop on the network.
