The Action Poker Network site Superior Poker.com has announced that
it has re-entered the U.S. market with effect from December 1 and
will be offering a full range of poker services and tournaments to
US players going forward.
American poker players are now able to deposit real money through
a good choice of methods and play real-money poker games at this poker
room, which initially opened for business in 2003 and is licensed
by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, and owned and operated by Sonsorol
NV in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles.
"We're serious about all players, and we continue to believe
that online poker is a skill game and is not affected by the recent
legislation passed in the United States," commented Superior
Poker.com's Manager, Charles J. Burton, referring to the Unlawful
Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA).
No reason was given for the change of company strategy.
SuperiorPoker.com offers a selection of poker games, including Texas
Hold'em, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo, Guts, Chinese Poker, Big 2, and is
one of the few poker rooms offering Panguingue (Pan).
