Party Poker marketers are determined to get the attention of potential
customers wherever they may be, and that includes public washrooms
according to media reports this week.
The biggest online poker room on the Internet has engaged with advertising
company AddDirect to place advertising material in up to 300 washrooms
in up-market clubs throughout the United Kingdom, using the company's
innovative AddMirror medium.
AddMirror looks like an ordinary mirror but doubles as a screen for
advertising, projecting single or multiple advertising images.
According to the reports, PartyPoker.com's AddMirror allows people
to position their faces within an empty playing card, and includes
the company's slogan, "Got a bad poker face?"
AddDirect correctly observes that adverts are most potent when the
audience is at its most attentive....and that's when they're looking
at themselves!
