Tribeca Tables launched a new poker game this week called Badugi Poker. The game originates from South Korea where it was know as "Paduki". It's a triple draw lowball poker variant where A-2-3-4 of all different suits is the best hand. The Tribeca Tables platform is the first poker network that will offer this interesting poker variant.

Tribeca Tables is a large poker network with over one hundred poker rooms, including Doyles Room, a fast growing poker room sponsored by poker legends Doyle "Texas Dolly" Brunson and Mike "The Mad Genius of Poker" Caro.

Doyle Brunson commented on the release of Badugi Poker: "Badugi is the game of the future. It is more interesting and complex than most poker games and I enjoy it very much."

Mike Caro added: "The first time I played Badugi, my pulse was racing and that's unusual for me. This poker game is aggravating, exciting, exasperating, and exhilarating. And then you play the next 10 minutes! You get four cards and you draw three times. You don't want high ranks. You don't want pairs. You don't want matching suits. That's it! That's all there is to Badugi, other than the intrigue that accompanies that simple, devious set of rules”.

Badugi Poker is a poker variant that originates from South Korea. It is very popular in the Far East and in US cities with large Korean populations. Badugi Poker is a triple draw lowball poker variant where A-2-3-4 of all different suits is the winning hand. You are dealt four cards and the object of the game is to make the lowest hand possible over three draws. At Doyles Room and other Tribeca Tables clients you can play the game in a limit, pot limit and half pot limit version.
