Bob Goen wins Hollywood Poker's Celebrity Shootout Tournament

Playing in one of the largest online celebrity poker tournaments ever, with 33 confirmed celebrity players, Bob Goen went all in to take the top celebrity prize in Hollywood Poker’s World Series of Poker (WSOP) Celebrity Shootout Tournament. Goen received a World Series of Poker package valued at over $15,000. The event held on June 18, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. PDT was accessible for the public to play with their favorite stars or watch as spectators.

Commenting on winning the tournament, Goen said, "I can't believe this. Me...playing for the bracelet? I've never been good at accessorizing, but I'll try and make Hollywood Poker proud."

Emir Benjamin Andersen from Denmark was the tournament winner winning first place money out of the more than $13,000 prize pool and a World Series of Poker Package, which includes the $10,000 tournament buy-in, 7-night hotel accommodations and airfare to Las Vegas.

Other celebrities that played in the tournament, in order of how they placed following Bob Goen, included Nicholas Gonzalez, Jon Landau, Seth Meyers, Anthony Denison, Krista Allen, Dick Van Patten, Noah Emmerich, Joshua Morrow, Yancey Arias, Michael Kane, Chris Lawford, Bill Smitrovich, Jeremy London, Erik Palladino, Jimmy Van Patten, Tony Griffin, Michael Woods, Eddie Cibrian, Willie Garson, Josh Malina, Michael Ian Black, Stephen Collins, Jonathan Baker, Michael Kelly, Tom Everett Scott, Bryce Dallas Howard, Dule Hill, James Woods, Michael DeLorenzo, Tim Busfield, Kelli Williams and Vince Van Patten. Each participating celebrity had $100 bounties placed on them for anyone who knocked them out of the tournament.
