Poker Pro Magazine announced today that best-selling author and renowned poker columnist, Lou Krieger, has joined its publication as a contributing writer. Lou Krieger is well known for penning more than 400 columns on poker strategy and seven books including Poker for Dummies and The Poker Player’s Bible. Krieger is also the host of Royal Vegas Poker and the College Poker Championship.
Poker Pro’s premier issue will be available on July 1, with a total initial distribution of 52,000 copies! There will be more than 40,000 newsstand copies distributed in major outlets throughout the United States and Canada, including traditional newsstands, Barnes and Noble, Borders, Hastings, Tower, Walmart, and major airports. In addition, another 8,000 copies will be distributed to major casino card rooms, and more than 4,000 complementary copies are on-hand for visitors at our booth, number 833, during the World Series of Poker expo, July 6th-9th. The strong demand for poker coverage, even before the premier issue went to print, resulted in the need to increase page count by 20 pages in the bimonthly publication.

Poker Pro offers exciting and informative cover-to-cover reading for beginner to intermediate players and professionals.
In conjunction with the publication, Poker Pro launches their new rich media content Web site on July 1, 2005. The Web site gives poker enthusiasts access to the “Official Poker Pro Poker Blog” and online contests including: Poker Vacation Contest and "Be in the Magazine" contest.
