With the plethora of poker shows on TV, producers are having to think up new wrinkles in presentation in order to catch the public attention. This March, E! is shuffling the deck on the celebrity poker genre with the launch of "Hollywood Poker Night."

The new hour-long weekly series takes viewers inside celebrity homes for more than just an innocent game of poker, boasts Ted Harbert, President & CEO, E! Networks.

"'Hollywood Poker Night' is E!'s signature take on the celebrity poker craze," said Harbert. "The series offers the fun and challenge of cards, but will also gives viewers a unique glimpse into the lives and homes of some of today's top young stars."

In the series, three stars and three of their best buddies ante-up for an evening of cards, conversation and good company. Each week, different celebrity hosts will take viewers on an televised tour of their home, sharing their favorite places to relax, work out, and find solace away from their busy Hollywood lives.

After the tour, the players saddle up for some real Texas Hold'em. Although most celebrities are poker-faced about their private lives, there's no telling what personal info they'll deal up as they kickback and chitchat amongst friends. From their love lives, to families, to friends, work and hobbies, these players lay more than just their cards on the table, says the blurb.

Featured celebrities in the series include numerous well known stars from leading movies and TV series.
