On Tuesday, February 15, 2004 The Hendon Mob and StansPoker, a Prima Poker card room, officially kick off the Hendon Mob Poker League with the first of twelve (12) $25 + $2.50 No-Limit Texas Hold’em tournaments. StansPoker from Stan James will add $1000 to the prize pool for the February 15th event and at least $500 to each monthly prize pool.
The league is open to all registered members of the Hendon Mob Forum who open an account with StansPoker. Players will accumulate “league points” each time they play in the online tournament. After the 12th tournament, the top ten players in the league will play in a one table “sit-and-go” event to determine the league champion. A leader board will be posted after each online tournament showing the player rankings.
The league champion will join the Hendon Mob on the Prima Poker Tour at the Bellagio Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas for the WPT Event in December 2005. The prize package includes:
- Air fare to Las Vegas to join the Mob on tour;
- Chauffered limousine pick-up to and from McCarran airport;
- Seven night stay at the Bellagio Hotel and Resort;
- Entry into a $1500 satellite / super satellite for the WPT main event;
- $1000 spending money.
The top league player at the end of the 12 tournaments will win the one-and-only, official Hendon Mob poker table where the Mob honed their skills!
