Hot on the heels of the Canada.com story on PokerRoom.com
came the news that the huge poker room has picked up the Best Online
Poker Site award at the inaugural Inside Edge magazine awards 2005.
The readers of Inside Edge magazine voted for the awards through two
different voting rounds and the sites in the category were judged
on their ease of use, variety of games and tournaments and the speed
of pay-out.
PokerRoom.com beat off competition from the likes of Paradise Poker,
BetfairPoker, Party Poker, VC Poker and Pacific Poker.
Inside Edge commented: 'We asked our voters to tell us how they
rated their online poker sites for three different criteria. Our top
scorer was PokerRoom.com, which did well to achieve such a solid user
satisfaction score among our readers.'
Nearly all those who voted gave PokerRoom.com a very satisfied or
satisfied rating across the board. PokerRoom.com were so pleased with
their award that they also donated over £10,000 to the charity
auction in aid of SPARKS.
