Look out for InterPoker ads this Sunday - the company has
clinched a major mainstream advertising deal to display 147 thirty
second advertisements for its new play for fun site, InterPoker.tv
at Super Bowl and other prominent sporting events throughout the year.
Eye Candy, the company that places and manages giant screen media
at major sport and cultural events worldwide, has signed similar deals
for Super Bowl airtime with major corporations such as Coke and Citibank.
Besides the Super Bowl coverage, InterPoker has been appearing in
U.S. homes on the television program ‘Caribbean Poker Classic’
which aired this week on Rogers Sports. The CPC chronicled the trials
and successes of InterPoker online poker players, as they battled
for their share of almost $1 million in a high pressure, high stakes
poker tournament set in the idyllic island paradise of St Maarten.
“We are keeping the Superbowl ads a closely guarded secret
before the game, so you’ll just have to wait and see what InterPoker.tv
has done,” said Mike de Halpert, Manager of InterPoker.com.
The budget for the campaign was not disclosed.
