Zone4Play software has been active again - this time in the iTV poker
sector.
Avago has signed an agreement with Zone4Play to provide Britain with
its first ever iTV multi-player, Texas Hold’em game that will
allow thousands of players to bet simultaneously. The play for fun
game is expected to launch by the end of 2004 on Avago, which broadcasts
to hundreds of thousands of UK households through Sky digital.
Idan Miller, Vice President of marketing and sales for Zone4Play,
says, "Our close relationship with Avago has helped us
develop the first ever multi-player poker game for iTV. Zone4Play's
technology platform successfully translates game concepts effectively
implemented over the Internet to a live at-home playing experience,
while overcoming the limitations of the iTV platforms."
