Players will be seeing a lot more Victor Chandler Poker advertising
in the near future following a six figure deal with Dennis Publishing
this week.
The main vehicles will be men’s print magazine Maxim and gambling
glossy Inside Edge that will be used in a cross promotion deal with
Victor Chandler Poker. The agreement will see Maxim hosting the Maxim
King of Poker Tournament in London next June (2005).
Maxim is to offer a poker supplement featuring poker tuition and advice,
and readers will be urged to enter a multi-table online tournament
every week from January to June 2005. The aggregate winners of this
series will qualify for a Grand Final tournament event.
Maxim has also promised weekly and monthly prizes leading up to the
ultimate prize, which is to be crowned Maxim's King of Poker.
