Poker rooms just keep springing up on an almost weekly basis, and
BetOnBet, Celeb Poker and Casinopenthouse are among the most recent
on the no-download Poker Network.
Celeb Poker launched in April this year and has been conducting a
vigorous press release marketing campaign with some success, whilst
Casinopenthouse is a new Futurebet-powered online casino that has
also just launched a poker room on this network.
BetOnBet is a multi-lingual betting exchange with an open market for
trading of bets. Odds are not set by BetOnBet but the customers themselves.
Registered in the UK, the site also includes a casino and is run by
Norwegians. Their customers will benefit from the large Poker Network
community which claims a registered membership of 2 million players.
When we checked there were 1800 players simultaneously active online.
David Donovan, founder of CelebPoker comments “We decided
to change poker licensee because of the much higher quality software
that PokerNetwork was able to provide us with.”
PokerNetwork also licenses its software to PokerRoom.com currently
the world’s fifth largest poker site.
Patrik Selin, CEO of PokerNetwork comments: “These are
the third and fourth out of nine newly signed licensees to be launched
with PokerNetwork, proving that we are on track to achieve our aim
of becoming one of the largest poker software licensing companies
in the online gaming market.”
